what the hell does this mean???

or are you getting it setup and receiving errors?

what os are ya running?
what bind version are you running?

Yep...ALL our FREEBSD machines now have this error. Reboot your machine to get named working again. Then read Seths post in this thread.

i also have such problems each time i try do add/edit a zone, or a nameserver configuration!
even when i create new domain this happens!

i run redhat 3 ent.

any help???

Run this commands :

/scripts/fixndc
/etc/init.d/named stop
/etc/init.d/named start
/usr/sbin/rndc reload

this should fix your problem, fixed it on one of my servers.
