root filemanager

Hello,

Is there a root filemanager available for cpanel whm or can I configure a reseller cpanel account to allow the filemanger root access to the files.

I have been using webmin for the past 3 years so I have been used to the root filemanger.

its such a bore having to use ssh with vi to make changes to root files.

I am very suprised that cpanel whm doesnt include any filemanger at all!

WHM does not have a File Manager at this time. Here's a link to the feature request for this:

However, cPanel does have a File Manager to navigate the contents of an individual user's account. This can be found in the "Files" section of the cPanel interface - just click on the "File Manager" icon. Legacy File Manager is the file manager from version 10 and is largely there for legacy purposes only.
