Default rsync process that is running forever?

    Hi All,

Since I upgraded to 10.8.21 stable I have these processes running.
Does anyone know if they need to keep on running or need to be killed?

    13788 ? TN 5:08 rsync -rlptD --delete /backup/cpbackup/daily/ /backup/cpbackup/weekly
    13789 ? SN 0:00 \_ rsync -rlptD --delete /backup/cpbackup/daily/ /backup/cpbackup/weekly
    13790 ? SN 3:11 \_ rsync -rlptD --delete /backup/cpbackup/daily/ /backup/cpbackup/weekly

    thanks,

    -Alon.

Kill them off if they're no longer copying files from daily/ to weekly/. Did the backup partition run out of space at some point? It could be that they're leftover from some such event. If they recur you might want to check the disks integrity that the /backup partition is on.
