Ruby on Rails with Apache in cPanel?

Hello:

Is it possible to configure Ruby on Rails in cPanel to use Apache instead of running a separate server for each Ruby on Rails application? Running Ruby on Rails applications on a different, non-standard port (like 12000) is not a good solution at all, and that is the way cPanel seems to want to do it.

It is possible to run mod_rails (Phusion Passenger) on a cPanel based server but you are going to be doing a lot of manual managing of the rails apps and it won't be point/click easy via the domain's cpanel as it is with the mongrel based setup that cPanel supports.
