    Api2: needsimport is missing from Cpanel::RoR's api2 function. Perhaps you mispelled needsimport. at cpanel.pl line 4538. main::api2_preexec('RoR', 'needsimport') called at cpanel.pl line 1156 main::cpexectag('<?cp RoR::needsimport(%,) ?>') called at cpanel.pl line 4361 main::dotag(undef) called at cpanel.pl line 4250 main::cpanel_parseblock('SCALAR(0x8f6b30c)') called at cpanel.pl line 4204 main::cpanel_parse('GLOB(0xa6ed3c0)') called at cpanel.pl line 1027

    How to fix that ?

    Thanks in advance

    First, ensure you are on one of the latest builds (check the bottom of http://layer2.cpanel.net). If you are on the latest build, then run:

    Code:
    /scripts/checkperlmodules

    I did run /scripts/installruby (i choose mongrel 1.0.1 (ruby)) and /scripts/checkperlmodules.. all process is done with no errors

    but i still have a same messages when accessing ruby on rails from cPanel client

    is there something I miss ?

    Thanks in advance

    Most (if not all) of what is in EDGE now will trickle down to the other builds with the release of cPanel 11 Stage 2 .

    Essentially, features that are integrated with or will benefit substantially from EasyApache 3 are being held for Stage 2, when EasyApache 3 will be released (note EDGE is already in Stage 2). Complete RoR support is one of those features that will benefit from EasyApache 3 hence it is currently in EDGE but not CURRENT, RELEASE or STABLE.

    Hi David,

    Do you have a full list of what Ruby on Rails features we can expect to be in stage 2. Also do you have information on how the software will be setup, e.g. will we be able to control mongrel clusters through cpanel, will you be using apache proxy_balancer? etc.

    Thanks

    I don't have a full list yet as it seems to be improving on a daily basis. Definitely expect some more control over Ruby on Rails functionality. Poking around Stage 2 as it stands right now, it does have some nifty new functionality such as Fast CGI support and mod_proxy support.

    I'll preface the next statement by saying I'm not terribly familiar with RoR terminology. However, I do not anticipate we will be supporting clustering of servers for RoR with Stage 2.
