    Default Running Samba with Cpanel/WHM

Is there an issue with running Samba and Cpanel/WHM together? The reason I'm asking is that we'd like to establish a local test environment where we can store files via the local network without going out and ftp'ing to the Linux box.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I know if you run the Quick Security Scan it will kill SMB. Samba is more likely to cause a box to be hacked. I really don't think you should do this. FTP would be a hell of a lot faster and secure. Even Secure FTP is better (FTP over SSH).
