stats_log yes, as well as the error_log, I do it once a week.
I'd like to delete my access log to as it goes back to the beginning of the year before I even got that server and it's taking up a lot of space.
I've been told that deleting the access_log will also delete the monthly stats in my customers cpanels so if they want to look at stats from a month or 2 ago they wouldn't be able to.
It IS technically safe to delete it as the server will just make a new one, question is will deleting this file actually affect the users monthly stats in cpanel and if so are these stats worth anything to you or your customers.
Anyone have an answer to this?
Did it affect the users monthly stats in cpanel?

Can anyone confirm if it is safe to delete the log files in /usr/local/cpanel/logs ?
Will doing this affect user accounts in any way or do these files purely exist for tracking problems?
Thanks.

im not sure if this is a good idea, still trying to work out if deleting stats_log was the cause but now awstats says
Error: LogFile parameter is not defined in config/domain file
Setup ('/home/ozhome/tmp/awstats/awstats.ozhome.net.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
See AWStats documentation in 'docs' directory for informations on how to setup awstats.
