    gkgcpanel:

I have been trying to replicate your issue within our testing environments, nonetheless unsuccessful. Even attempted copying the accounts from a server configured to use /home2.

If you could open a ticket 'ATTENTION QA', we will gladly look into your issue and seek a prompt resolution.

    Thank you!

I tried updating an old Advanced Guestbook to the newest version 2.4.3

The update script started running succesfully but only updated to 2.4.2

So I restarted the script to update from 2.4.2 to 2.4.3 but then nothing seems to happen really:

    cPAddon cPanel::Guest_Books::Advanced_Guestbook
This is a cPanel packaged module. (v0.1)

    Support

    And then nothing happens.

Yup, same thing that happens to me and on multiple scripts. no errors, no warnings, and no updates either...

I was told it was because of a failed upgrade to cPanel and I should do an upcp --force

    Have done that. No joy.

So this is still a problem.

I recommend letting our technical analysts take a look at your server. You can do this by submitting a support ticket.

The best way to stop those emails is to upgrade the site software that needs updating. If you are a cPanel user, just go to the site software section of your cPanel interface and here you can upgrade the site software that needs updated.

System administrators can force upgrades via the "Manage cPAddons" screen in the WHM interface.

    HI

Thanks for answering-but-my clients do not want to upgrade.

Is there another way to stop these emails?

    Thanks

Be warned, by not upgrading these scripts, there is a high probability you are leaving your server open to known exploits in these applications.

Users can disable these emails by going to their cPanel interface, clicking on Site Software and at the top where it says:

You currently are set to receive a notice when updates for your installs are available. Click here to turn it off.
Click on the "click here" link to turn off the notifications.

    Hi

Sorry if I was not clear

In their control panels -The users are not set to get these emails

The emails that I want to stop are going to root and to the resellers

    Thanks

In WHM -> Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings -> cPaddons, un-check the following settings:

Notify owners when their users have cPAddon installations that need updated
Notify cPAddons Adminstrator of cPAddon installations that need updated.
Then click Save at the bottom of the page.

I'm unable to replicate this issue on my test server. At this time we only support up to version 1.4.24 of Coppermine so I'm not yet sure why you're seeing a notice saying we now support upgrades to Coppermine 1.4.25.

When you click on the "Site Software" section in cPanel, click on Coppermine, do you see anything under "Upgradable Installs?"

in trying to stop the emails I had attempted to edit the yaml file to force it to reflect the updated version - Ive set it back to .24 and the upgrade option is no longer in cpanel

Well see if I still get the emails
