I presume that this is the error that you're having trouble with:

/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.91441: line 31: cd: exim-4.52: No such file or directory
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.91441 (%prep)
Have you checked that you do indeed have a /var/tmp directory with plenty of space. Also have you checked that it has 1777 permissions, or if symlinked to /tmp that /tmp has those permissions?

I don't see any error in there. Apart from the fact that it's building from source rpm which isn't a problem.

    Hi chirpy, thanks for reply

I've checked my /var/tmp have symlinked to /tmp and i've chmod that folder to 1777,
then i start the /scripts/eximup --force command and the error still there.
My /var/tmp still got 75% free space

    Any idea ?

BTW, why cpanel cannot find http://diff.cpanel.net/exim/4.52-7/f...5pass.i386.rpm in the first place ?

I know u will say "cPanel remove it" , but they should't remove it , it will make their client like me having problem to update

    Thanks and regards

Actually, looking at your error more closely, it seems to suggest that you don't have a /usr/bin/gzip file, or at least , if it is there, is it chmod 755 ?
