In 2006, someone wrote this:
There was no solution in this thread and I had this problem this morning so maybe what i'll say is relevant for someone.

/scripts/fixquotas Problem

root [/]# /scripts/fixquotas
Installing Default Quota Databases...../aquota.user..../quota.user..../backup/aquota.user..../backup/quota.user..../boot/aquota.user..../boot/quota.user.....
Quotas are now on
Updating Quota Files......
quotacheck: Scanning /dev/sda3 [/] quotacheck: Old group file not found. Usage will not be substracted.
done
quotacheck: Checked 32279 directories and 310360 files


quotacheck: WARNING - Quotafile //quota.user was probably truncated. Can't save quota settings...

Resetting quota for domain1 to 0 M

I think I have a problem,how can I fix that ?

For me, it set my "used disk space" to 0M...

I had to run:

quotaoff -a
quotacheck -avgum
quotaon /

This will just fix it for this time, I need to investigate for a better solution.

Could you let us know the environment type of the system you have installed cPanel on?

cat /var/cpanel/envtype

Generally speaking, the messages you have pasted do not result in the disk space quota being set to 0. Assuming this issue persists, I suggest opening a ticket so our staff can take a look for you:
