Did a clean install of Cpanel onto a new box yesterday. During install, it didn't grab the MySQL rpms. Nonetheless, the install completed. I figured that the mirrors were down or something.
Been trying to to run /scripts/sysup all day today (8.11.04) and keep getting the following:
------- Cut ------------
MySQL-server is not up to date (Wed Dec 31 18:00:00 1969)

-------- End ------------
This applies to all the mirrors and my install currently does NOT have MySQL installed and eximstats keeps generating those annoying messages.
Are the mirrors down? Or has something changed in the Cpanel installer? Or am I just overlooking something?
- Runing RH9, new box with clean install, and a new cpanel install. Just can't get MySQL onto the putter.
Tried running all the standard cpanel update scripts from shell to no avail.
Any help, thoughts, or insight would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Yong
