    Default /scripts/upcp Cron

Every night I am receiving report from Cron running /scripts/upcp
Under WHM/Update config I have all settings to manual update.

So what is this process Cron is running, for ?

In this report there is something like this 8among other things) :
    **************
Found hostname to be host.myserver.com, which resolves to xx.xx.xxx.xxx
Hostname Virtual Host is already setup
PHP version file is up to date
    SpamAssassin disabled in Service Manager

It's perfectly normal and carries out daily cPanel maintenance. You should leave it running whether you have updates running or not otherwise you'll find that your cPanel license may be disabled as part of the job is to tell the license servers that cPanel is active.

hi, sorry for refloating the thread, but I have a related question about....
    Code:
    Ftp Quota Check v1.6
    Updating user1: ...Done
    Updating user3: ...Done
    Updating user6: ...Done
    Updating user10: ...Done
What is it supposed to be "updated" for that users? In my server the "updated" users have sometime used a subdomain (an extra FTP account) but they are not actually using it anymore (subdomains have been deleted!). BTW, there is another website that set a subdomain after cPanel v.S21703 and never has been "updated". Was this a bug in cPanel??? if this is normal behaviour, tell me why.
