secondary ftp-account for upload files for anonymous

Hi,

Is there possibility to add secondary ftp-account which has access to /home/user/public_ftp not just to /home/user/public_html

I want to give someone to allow upload files for anononymous ftp, but I don't want give him access to main account ...

Hi,

anononymous FTP users are allowed to access public_ftp only. However, you need to assign a dedicated IP for your account, because anononymous FTP won't work for you properly if your account uses a shared IP address.

I have dedicated IP, and anonymous server works fine

but I want to have secondary ftp account to upload files to public_ftp, so I dont want to give someone access to my main account login and password.

Is there possible ?

when I create ftp account it has acces to public_html, byt I need account with access to public_ftp ...

Why is it necessary to create the secondary FTP login if any anonymous user is allowed to acess public_ftp ? It doesn't have sense for me.

I can upload them now with main account, but I dont want use main account ...

sorry, but I want, that MY customer can upload its own files ...I dont want to have open ftp for all.
