Default secure subdomain / directory issue

This URL: https://secure.mydomain.com/index.php is displaying a page can’t be found error. I believe it to be due to the secure certificate pointing to the wrong directory. For example: This URL: https://secure.mydomain.com shouldn’t show our hosting sites main index page. Instead it should show this page: http://secure.mydomain.com/index.php but only secured. So https://secure.mydomain.com/index.php should look exactly the same as http://secure.mydomain.com/index.php does.

    How can I correct this?

    Using CentOS 3.3
    cPanel 9.9.9R-14

You probably need to edit the SSL entry in the httpd.conf file. Look at the documentroot directive.

Well, if it is generating an error, you might want to tail the error_log to see what the error it is generating is.

I find your description of the problem a little confusing. You say it shouldn't show the same page as the default page, yet you say that http and https should show the same content, so I am a little confused.
