    Default Sending Attachments in SQmail (Cpanel Version)

    Does anyone having a problem with adding attachments in Sqmail (Cpanel version) ?

    Cpanel Version: 7.1.8 #49

    I tried it on two different servers. It just gives error.

    chmod 0777 /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/data

    That will fix your attachment problems.

    Just make sure you regularly clean attachments out of that folder.

    I know this will fix it but this is not secure, This folder will also have the user pref.

    I made the attachments dir /tmp. That solved it and better than making the data 777.

    Where do you tell Sqmail that the attachments dir is now /tmp?

    In the SQMail configuration file

    you will find a variable for the attachments path.
