Server deleting email accounts.

Hello,

My name is Phil and I work as a server admin for a start-up hosting company. All has been fine untill recently. Recently we have been having problems with one of our boxes. The problem is getting very annoying. The problem is that it seems the server is enjoying deleting peoples email accounts. Untill recently it hasnt really been a problem, with maybe a person losing one or two accounts but just today we had someone lose 60+ accounts.

I am wondering has anyone else had this problem and whether they know of a fix for it. Our security is pretty tight even though we do not have root disabled. We are running RHEL 3. If you need any logs please ask, I will go fetch them.

I would honestly be very surprised if cpanel was just deleting email account for no reason.

try this to see if the user did it on their own.

grep dodelpop /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log

Just followed that command, and it outputted nothing about the user doing anything to his own accounts. Hmm odd. Anyone other ideas?

Any chance that account is over it's quota?

I've heard of various problems popping up from that.

Anyway to check if they were over quota before they lost the email accounts?
