Iīm having a issue that I donīt find how to fix.

My server load is fine almost part of the day, with load above 1.
But suddenly load goes to 30, 50 or even more.

I try to find wich process is causing the load high, but I donīt find anything different. But the top command, shows me one little thing... the "wa" option is under 95% or more.

I know the "wa" information means disk usage... i/o, is that right?
So, there is some process that is making a high usage of i/o, making the server slow but I canīt find this process.

Do you have any idea about how can I trace this process to fix this issue?

The spikes happens a few times per day
