Cpanel::TailWatch::Eximstats appears to have unprocessed SQL in /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.

When mysql is unable to execute a query they are logged for processing later.

Eventually these SQL files may be handled automatically and this message will not appear.

In the meantime you can execute the queries as root with something like this:

mv /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy
/scripts/restartsrv_tailwatchd
mysql eximstats < /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy

Once you are sure all is well you can remove /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy

How is it safe to fix this ? I have already tried "/scripts/upcp --force" but no success.

The warning message provides the steps to take to resolve the warning:

mv /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy
/scripts/restartsrv_tailwatchd
mysql eximstats < /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy

All this does is move unprocessed exim stats. Additionally, we aren't going to provide a series of commands that are unsafe to perform.

I have already run the command for 4 or 5 times but the "failed" message comes back after one or more days, what is going on ? =)

tailwatchd failed @ Thu Jul 28 10:35:02 2011. A restart was attempted automagically.

I get the same error. I have tried the default fix yet it occurs several times a day.

I made sure my cpanel software is up to date using -- force.

There has to be a way to trouble shoot why this is occurring since I upgraded to WHM 11.30.1 (build 4)
CENTOS 5.6 i686 standard

tailwatchd has a log file at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/tailwatchd_log location. Can you please tail the log to see the results?

tail -50 /usr/local/cpanel/logs/tailwatchd_log
