    Default Setting Up Email, Forwaders, Default drop etc...

    Hello,
    I am trying to setup email so I can check all valid emails for my account from one POP account and automatically delet emails not sent to specific email addresses.

    I setup up forwarders so that sales@mydomain.com and webmaster@mydomain.com are forwaded to 'zealot', which is my main cpanel username.

    I have one pop account called 'zealot'

    Now to delet everything else I set :blackhole: to receive all unrouted mail.

    I use Yahoo to read my POP account.
    I set it up like
    Server = mail.mydomain.com
    User = zealot
    PW = xxxxxxx

    This doesn't seem to work.
    Any ideas why ?

    I have read through the documentation and tried many combinations but nothing seems to work right.

    Dear mrspeed,

    Try using username as zealot@yourdomain.com instead of zealot.

    Regards,

    I don't like using the main mail account because it attracts too much spam

    Instead of using the main account zealot, I would do the following:
    * Create a new mailbox, e.g. you@ymydomain.com
    * Forward your sales and webmaster messages to you@mydomain.com
    * Set the default address to :blackhole: or :fail: instead of zealot.

    The above will ensure you get webmaster, sales and you@mydomain.com and nothing else.
