    Default sftp problem

Three sites on my box suddenly return error messages about bad packet lengths when I try to sftp to them. No other sites are affected, including several that a are identically configured in the DNS. Is there another config file somewhere I need to be checking?

Also, I am in the process of re-IPing this box (not the issue above). Most of the sites (but not all) in the DNS have an A entry for FTP which is the main shared IP. Some have a CNAME entry of the domain.

    1. Which is correct?
    2. When I change the main shared IP and then the IP of the box, will these records (the ones referencing the main IP) get changed, or am I going to have to edit them all?

This is a really old question, but I found the answer to it here: http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread....highlight=sftp

Maybe it'll help someone in the future.
