Anybody tried using .shop domains on Cpanel? Does it work fine as with other domains (.com/.net/.org etc)?

You are talking about .shop from New.net, correct? If so, let me know and I can explain how to set these up (it is a little different than .com/.net/etc.).

.shop domains cannot (yet) be resolved universally in the short form (*.shop). The company selling these domains has partnerships with a number of ISPs, including Earthlink, Prodigy, and others, in addition to having their plugin bundled with many popular software programs, making the domains accessible to nearly 200,000,000 people. When you buy a .shop domain, you get both the short form of the domain as well as a long form of the domain which can be accessed by people who are either not using one of the supported ISPs or do not have the plugin.

In order for both forms of the domain to work, you have to synchronize the domains. The best solution I have found is to create the account using the long form of the domain (ex: webhosting.shop.new.net) and park the short version (ex: webhosting.shop) on top of it. If you set it up in that order you should not run into any problems.

Hope this answers your question.
