    Default Should EXIM 4.5 be in cPanel 10.0.0-RELEASE 149?

    Hi,

    Reading the current changelog for cPanel it's got "update exim to version 4.50" against build build 147 (EDGE tree) - should I be expecting it to be in build 149 of the release tree?

    If so, then it's not there - my exim still reports Exim 4.44. It could of course be that I've misunderstood the release timing... anyone out there care to clarify this for me?

    It should be in there.

    Try running /scripts/exim4

    Hi Blue|Fusion,

    Thanks for confirming it should have been in there - I've run /scripts/exim4 and that just did a reinstall of 4.44...

    Any other suggestions gratefully received...

    You could try /scripts/exim4 --latest

    Its not in the release tree, its in edge and current I think.

    Check your update config.

    Just to be sure, try the following extra step:

    /scripts/up2datenow
    /scripts/exim4 --latest

    If that still pops in 4.44, then as Jan says - it's not in the RELEASE tree yet and you'll have to wait until it is.

    i do not want to do an "update" if it's just gonna bring me back to 4.44.

    so, to those who tried, is it in R-149?

    I'm running R149 and it says I am running exim 4.44

    Thumbs up trick

    i used this trick:
    (1) change update config to EDGE
    (2) do /scripts/exim4 --latest
    (3) change back update config to STABLE

    got exim 4.50 running well

    I checked when seeing this and indeed it was the case, however this has now changed and the above URL lists Exim 4.50 being in everything but stable.
