    Default Should i be concerned?

    I found these after a FRESH cpanel install. I did a trojan check in the WHM.


    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/pod2usage
    .

    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/podchecker
    .

    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/podselect
    .
    .

    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/pstruct
    .
    .

    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/splain
    .

    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/xsubpp
    .

    That Trojan Horse is not accurate if it is a Fresh copy it is just "Unknown" files by the scanner so they say possible Trojan house but it is highly doubted it's a trojan.

    That feature in WHM is next to useless for several reasons. I'd recommend you search the forums and install chkrootkit and rootkit hunter to give you better information on the validity of files. You might also want to install some kind of IDS (Intrusion Detection System) targetted at checking server files, such as Tripwire.
