    Default SIOCSIFFLAGS

None of my new IP\'s work. When I try to add some I get the folowing message.

    SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address

THere is another post in here that gives an explaination on how to fix it but I\'m not sure exactly how to do it.

    Any ideas?

That usually means those IPs are bound to other machines reachable under the same gateway that machine is using.

Aka some naughty person stole \'em, or they are *already* bound to your box.
