Site to Site FTP transfer setup ?

Hi there,

I am checking out the FlashFXP ftp client (normally I use cuteftp) but since I really like the idea of doing site to site transfers (same server running cPanel).

I run Pure-FTPD and I cannot see any way to enable site to site transfers.

As it stands right now - I get this:

[R] PORT 70,85,xxx,xx,160,20
[R] 500 I won't open a connection to 70.85.xx.xx (only to 195.198.xxx.xx)
Site to Site Transfer Failed! (Attempting alternative method)
[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (70,85,xx,xx,83,39)
[L] PORT 70,85,xxx,xx,83,39
[L] 500 I won't open a connection to 70.85.xx.xx (only to 195.198.xx.xx)

Is there some settings I can set manually in ssh, if so what file and what do I need to change?

I appreciate any help on this,

If you are running the sites on the same server, and you have root access, why not just move the files around that way, instead of through ftp? The option you are looking to establish is called FXP, and I've not set it up before, however, a quick search should lead you to the information you need.

Thanks Chris,

For some weird reason I was thinking that FXP was just a term that FlashFXP used and was not the actual name.

I figured it out - I just edited the "/etc/pure-ftpd.conf" settings file, and changed allow FXP from no to yes and restarted ftp and it is working like a charm.

I could use ssh to the transfers, and that would be faster but I am more of a visual kind of guy.
