    Thanks

Normally we do not have to request here a script to be updated right? and you update it automatically even without someone requesting?

Correct, this month's schedule was very abnormal.

I see. I hope you will be able to fix your schedule to keep scripts in the cPAddon updated. I'm still waiting for wordpress to be updated.

Hello, I apologize - I forgot to post back here: wordpress was updated tuesday morning. As for the scheduling, yes, it is very important to us to keep everything updated. Again this was an abnormal thing so shouldn't be a problem

    Thanks so much!

However I believe 2.8.6 has released

WordPress 2.8.6 prevents malicious code from being uploaded. So is it possible to upgrade your script to 2.8.6?

    Thanks!

A case was created last week. I was out of the office but I will have the dev working on it post back here the current status.

2.8.6 has passed QA and has been published. It also resolves an outstanding wordpress bug regarding plugin administration that effects all auto installers similar to the cPanel provided cPAddon for wordpress.

phpBB 3.0.6 was released since last November 17. When are you going to update cpaddon? cpaddon is still in version v3.0.5

    Thumbs down

yabb 2.4 was released in April, still not available in cpaddons. How can we trust this feature if it isn't kept up to date? Or, if there is some reason why things aren't updated maybe you could post something somewhere? Maybe you do? If so, where please?

phpBB still not at 3.0.6 either.

    Thanks!

Here we are almost a month after the last post and PHPBB is still at 3.0.5. (a month and a half after 3.0.6 was released)
I really don't want to have to go through a 3rd party service to keep things up to date, but this is a little ridiculous.

EDIT: I actually just decided to say screw it and purchased an Installatron license instead of dealing with cPanel's garbage.
At least I can log in with the admin account when I set phpbb up now.

I apologize for the delay, we've been very busy on 11.25.0 and dealing with PHP 5.3.1 breakages.

It has been an unusual period of slow updates but it is our goal to keep up to date within hours of the upstream updates.

In fact we released several updates that patched the script for PHP 5.3.1 support *before* the venders fixed their own code!

phpBB3 will be out soon as well as a couple others.

YaBB and 3 others are still effected by this:

Site Software not updated with latest versions?

    Hello,

I just wanted to note here that the phpBB3 and Wordpress cPAddons are updated in case you are interested.

    Thanks

wordpress has been outdated for several weeks now.

Cpanel has made awesome progress over the past couple of years but I feel like this part of it, site software, is treated like an afterthought .. updates are ALWAYS late and over the past few years I've had to alert cpanel staff and beg for updates dozens of times. You guys can do better than that I'm sure of it
