    Default Sites not displaying

For some reason, over the course of a few hours sleep... all sites on one server decided not to display anymore.

Every service is showing green and operational, WHM is accessible, and Cpanels are accessible. However no website on this particular server will display, it's not found.

Any idea what in the course of a few hours would've went bad that no sites are viewable?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried restarting apache from root?

Well this is proving interesting. Attempting to update Cpanel and GD, or anything for that matter and I get an error message containing:

You are getting this error because RHN has detected an abuse of
service from this system and account. This error is triggered when
your system makes too many connections to Red Hat Network. This
error can not be triggered under a normal use of the Red Hat Network
service as configured by default on Red Hat Linux.

The Red Hat Network services for this system will remain disabled
until you will reduce the RHN network traffic from your system to
    acceptable limits.

Please log into RHN and visit https://rhn.redhat.com/help/contact.pxt
to contact technical support if you think you have received this
    message in error.

Could this be the source of why sites aren't displaying?

I cannot locate this problem anywhere, any info from those with knowledge as to this error would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

    Are you an EV1 Customer?

If so , please check out this thread.

    http://forums.ev1servers.net/showthr...ed+an+abuse+of

It gives information regarding the problem and if you are one of the affected customers you'll need to raise a ticket with EV1.

With regards to the sites not displaying problem, I'm not convinced your up2date issue is causing it. How about giving us a domain name to work with?

Many thanks for the offers of assistance. Turns out that update error was not the end factor causing the problem.

Nothing like a DNS Server hiccup to make all sites turn into mass hysteria! Word to the wise:

If all else fails reboot the DNS. If DNS fails, reboot, and reboot again
