Default Size of httpd proccesses is constantly increasing

    Can anybody help me?

I run ps command from time to time on my server and I noticed that size of httpd proccesses in memory are constantly increasing. When I do stop/start for the Apache the size of httpd is around 7-8 Mb but in 24 hours it is near 100 Mb.

This have began after upgrading Apache to 1.3.26 using standart CPanel upgrate.

    Default

That is extremely normal. Like any other webserver, apaches continues to gobble memory, largely to make access quicker to those clients on the other end who frequently access the machine- caching information it's pulling up from the drives in memory is much quicker than having to read them from disk again each and every time a customer requests the data from a particular site.

It's what a webserver does.... just be happy you aren't using IIS
That train runs away much, much quicker
