SMTP Tweak in whm/ tweak security

I have a server with Cpanel 8.2, and RedHat 7.3
and dont see this option anyway

Is this option only on RedHat 8? 9? or what?

Wait... I don't get it. If I enable SMTP Tweak, that means "Connections to localhost on port 25 are allowed". Should I enable or disable it then?

This feature makes SMTP all disabled for all clients.

Here is what I found from testing it out....

You can send email to accounts on that server ONLY!

Using Outlook Express, if you send from server@domain.com (account on that server) to someone@another_server.com
the email will never get to the other server.

Basically, as I see it, it only allows "local" delivery of emails. You can not send an email from your server to another server.

Probably your user or yourself needs to use your ISPs SMTP for outgoing mail.

A lot of broadband providers now won't allow you to use other SMTP other than their own anyway..
