Some page extensions no longer work

This morning I noticed all files on my server that are *.html or *.htm no longer work. I get an internal server error. Other extensions like *.php and *.shtml do work.

The only thing on my server that's changed as far as I can tell is a WHM update early this morning. Only change appears to be an upgrade to Apache 1.3.34

Anyone have any ideas what's changed and how to change it back? Thanks!

Hello,

Check your apache config file and uncommand the following entrys. Then restart apache. It will help you to solve the issue.

Wow! That worked perfectly. Thanks so much!! I've been stressing over this for hours.

Now, for my own education, what happened? Was it the new build of Apache that comes set with those lines commented out and my old version didn't?
