Default Sorry, your Cpanel Config file is missing your dns info. / 5

I receive this error "Sorry, your Cpanel Config file is missing your dns info. / 5" when I am in a customer's cpanel and trying to create a database or view awstats or basically doing everything. Anyone ever come across this error before?

    Hello,

Is it a server wide issue or problem with only one domain. If problem with only one domain, please have a look at the user specific file in the /var/cpanel/users/ directory. May be that user, missing the DNS entry in that file. Let me know the statas

I have this error too, when creating mailing lists. I checked /var/cpanel/users and the user file, and the dns= was set just fine.

    Any other ideas?

Make sure there is an entry for the domain that your are attempting to create the mailing list for (if it is not your main domain).

I got the same Config file missing error, I added the DNS=domain.com in /var/cpanel/users/username file buta strange thing happened. Now the account exists on the server but is not appearing in WHM in any function. Not in List Accounts, Terminate Accounts, Upgrade/Downgrade Account... not any where although I have checked from shell that everything exists on the server. What I have to do to make this account appear in WHM?

    Hello,

Did you try the command /scripts/updateuserdomains ? If not try it now.

Also please check that /etc/trueuserdomains does have the entry for that domain.
