    Default space / growth

    hii all.

my space / on /lib/modules, its usually grows when i have old kernels installed on my server.
    the oldest kernel file is
    2.6.9-34.EL/
    2.6.9-34.ELhugemem/
    2.6.9-34.ELsmp/

the kernel that i use on the server (uname -r) is
    2.6.9-78.0.22.ELsmp

the question that i want to ask is
    1. there is any problem if i delete these file/folder (the old kernel)?
    2. during delete these folder it will impact to our server? (like can't receive or sending mail or maybe will make our server don't work)

    need your advice ASAP

    thanks

I strongly do not recommend touching any kernel files unless you are experienced in doing so. Do not arbitrarily run commands to remove kernel files. You should ask your datacenter to login and do it for you.

Well, I have been using this same account information for quite awhile.
