Smile spam assassin not rewriting email headers

It seems that spam assassin has stopped working on one of our servers. I tried a few different things such as uninstalling and reinstalling spamdconf and then restarting exim to no avail. I also updated cpanel with force to no avail. Anybody have any clues?

A few things:

1. Make sure that you don't have the spamassassin rpms installed:

rpm -ev spamassassin

If that doesn't come back with "error: package spamassassin is not installed", then run:

/scripts/perlinstalled --force Mail::SpamAssassin

2. Try a lint test:

spamassassin --lint

If that shows errors, run the lint test in debug:

spamassassin -D --lint
