Spamassasin whitelist

I have one account that the user.conf file for spamassasin gets reset every couple of months or so. I've tried searching through the logs and didn't not see anything dealing with this file or find anything that would cause the file to get reset. It does have more than 20 email addresses whitelisted. I am not sure if cpanel sees this as too many and resets it after an update. Does anyone have any ideas?

It should not reset by itself regardless of how many you have entered there. The next time it resets check the timestamp on the file and see if it always happens at the same time, then check the logs, updates, and crons to any possible clues.
