    Default spamassassin and bayes

can i know is bayes enabled by default? If in local.cf, there are no entries to enable bayes, will it run automatically?

As I am using mailscanner, spamd is disabled because mailscanner will call spamc which will call spamd thus not requiring spamd process to run. But without spamd process running, will bayes be running?

Basically, here is what i have done. I have installed mailscanner using www.webumake.com installer. I need to know is bayes enabled after the mailscanner installation?

    Thanks in advance.

    Default

If you used my installer, then it will be enabled. The database should be in /var/spool/mqueue/.spamassassin/
