    Default SpamAssassin Enable by Default

Is if possible to enable SpamAssassin by default when and account is created?

Or is it possible to create a script that cPanel can run when it creates an account without hacking cPanel so I could do an autoconfig?

If this isn't possible i think it would be a very good feature addition so that people could perhaps also link accounts created in WHM to their Client systems...

    Any help greatly appreciated.

If you want to centrally administer SpamAssassin, you might find MailScanner+SpamAssassin a better solution.

I don't want to centrally admin spamassassin but would like to have default settings when I create a new account. About 99% of my clients prefer to have spamassassin enabled and have e-mails marked for spam deleted when I mention that to them. Because of this I would like to know if there is a way to enable spamassassin with a specific rating (I don't like 5 but would like something higher) and have a filter set up to discard the spam by default so that I don't have to manually set this up for each account. I do want them to be able to configure spamassassin if they wish but would like it turned on by default.

    Thanks,
    Andy

You could try adding spamassassin manually to an existing user, then copy the .spamassassinenable and .spamassassin/ files into /root/cpanel-skel

    Default Did this work?

Did that idea protactin suggested work?
I would also like to have spam assassin to be enabled by default. What the best solution for this?
