SpamAssassin stopped working properly

I have spamassassin enabled, and it worked great until about a day ago. Now messages it previously gave extremely high scores it doesn't. Case in point:

X-Spam-Status: No, score=1.1 required=5.0 tests=FORGED_HOTMAIL_RCVD2,
HTML_MESSAGE,HTML_MIME_NO_HTML_TAG,MIME_HEADER_CTY PE_ONLY,
MIME_HTML_ONLY autolearn=no version=3.1.0

The message had f**k in the subject line and porno text in the message.

I disabled and reneabled, and even reinstalled and I can't figure out why its missing so many messages. Any ideas?

Please do a search for SpamAssassin as it is a popular issue. This thread might have a fix for you but it is at the end and from cPanel Staff.

That doesn't help, as the problem is they aren't getting marked as Spam at all, not that they aren't getting deleted.

You could try reinstalling spamassassin if you have issues with it:

/scripts/perlinstaller --force Mail::SpamAssassin

Also, perform a lint test to check for errors:

spamassassin --lint -D

Otherwise, you're better of working through the www.spamassassin.org site.
