    Default spamd fails multiple times per day

    I get this in my email around 15 times a day:

    spamd failed @ Thu Jan 13 11:29:16 2005. A restart was attempted automagicly.


    When I look at server status, spamd shows green.

    Me too, after I disabled this in the 'Service Manager' and 'Tweak setting' in WHM, I keep getting this email once per 10 minutes!

    Anyone help pls? Thanks!!

    The patch mentioned somewhere in here fixes it! It has been going perfect ever since I did the patch.

    It had something to do with downloading a special version of spamd, and replacing the spamd executable and editing something in the spamd startup. This particular patch should be included in the future release of spamd (whenever that it).

    Hello, will this work? :

    login to SSH as root and execute the following:

    /scripts/restartsrv exim
    /scripts/restartsrv spamd
    /etc/init.d/chkservd restart

    spamd is started when exim is im pretty sure.
