spamd keeps failing and restarting

I receive emails about 8-10 times a day that say

spamd failed @ Tue Dec 6 09:42:47 2005. A restart was attempted automagicly.

Everything seems to be working but I'd like to track down why spamd keeps failing. Anyone have any ideas or a good starting place to look?

I'm seeing this in maillog which might be a clue, but I have no idea how to fix it:

Dec 6 09:51:15 studly spamd[22823]: spamd: setuid to root succeeded
Dec 6 09:51:15 studly spamd[22823]: spamd: still running as root: user not specified with -u, not found, or set to root, falling back to nobody at /usr/bin/spamd line 1150, <GEN32> line 4.

Deactivate SPAMD via the WHM >> Service Manager
Don't forget to follow the instructions there: SpamAssasin Server (if you choose to disable this, you should disable SpamAssasin in tweak settings as well)

SSH to your server and try the following commands:
/scripts/reseteximtodefaults
/scripts/eximup --force

Back again to WHM >> Service Manager and activate SPAMD and SpamAssasin

When I run /scripts/reseteximtodefaults it says that 'Warning, /scripts/exim4 is depreciated. Your request has been passed to /scripts/eximup'.
