I discovered today that spamd can run up memory usage to 1GB if it tries to scan very large emails. It seems that this is a spamd bug and some other boards have reported on this. I saw some notices about a fix for spamd so large messages are truncated rather than scanned in full.
Did someone have similar experience with spamd threads running wild? Anyone tried the patches yet?
