spri / prm causes pop3 to fail?

After I installed SPRI / PRM yesterday pop3 keeps failing, yet shows green in whm status.

I have no idea why. I let default config settings on each spri and prm.

EXIM 4.x
Mysql 4.1
centos 4.3
cpanel 10.x release

cpop restarted just fine also.

having a hard time tracing any errors in /var/logl/exim_mainlog as it appears up in whm status anyway.

exim shows as failed on /off and I have to restart chkservd constatnly as well.

edit: just noticed pop showing as failed also.
