SquirrelMail POP3 fetching

I was wondering. At this moment it's impossible to fetch mail from other pop-mail accounts with the version of squirrelmail installed on the CPanel servers. But I know that SquirrelMail offers this options. Has it been dissabled and if so, why?
Is it possible that they (or I) can fix it soon?

hm, i'm hosted at RCThost and i'm not quite sure if i can connect to my space with SSH: i get the message: Shell access is not enabled on your account! If you need shell access please contact support.
And if i could connect, i doubt if i can get to SU-mode.
Any suggestions?

Best option sounds like contacting support at your provider. Shell access generally means root access but could also indicate jailed shell which likely would still prevent you from making updates to squirrelmail. Request that your provider update squirrelmail for you.
