    Default SSL auto redirect

IF anyone could answer this it would be appreciated.

I have installed my SSL no problem and would like to know if it is possible to automatically divert all non SSL traffic to SSL. eg: if someone entered www.mydomain.com it would redirect to https://www.mydomain.com

    Many Thanks

    Andy (UK)

    Hi Andyl,

You can just set a redirection rule in your .htaccess file as,

    Redirection permanent www.mydomain.com https://www.mydomain.com

    Regards,
