Default SSL cert Installed but not working

I installed a certificate for a domain on my box and everything seems to be in order (this host has its own IP because there is another secure domain on the box). I even went into the httpd.conf file and checked it against other SSL domains on the box.

When i got to http://www.domain.com the site is up as normal but then when i go to the secure site https://www.domain.com the page times out!!!

Its a signed cert from comodo.

I have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone help. Thanks
