SSL cert installed; no https connection

Hi.

Am running WHM 10.1.0 cPanel 10.2.0-R10, with APF as the firewall.

1. Have assigned separate IP for the domain.
2. Have generated the SSL key and csr via WHM.
3. Purchased and installed SSL cert for the domain from FreeSSL with no problems.
4. When try to access the domain via HTTP - no problems.
5. When try to access the domain via HTTPS - "connection refused".
6. Checked APF config - shows that it allows 443. Killed it anyway - still have problem.

Any ideas? I've looked in these forums and have tried doing this:

openssl rsa -in whateveryourcert.key -out whateveryourcert.key

but I don't think that applies to me anyway. I was desperate!

Found a solution.

In /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf there are two places where the following tags are used:
<IfDefine SSL>
</IfDefine>

Specifically:

<IfDefine SSL>
AddModule mod_ssl.c
</IfDefine>

and:

<IfDefine SSL>
Listen 443
listen 80
</IfDefine>

I removed the tags from both locations and restarted apache with:
./apachectl start

Tried "apachectl startssl" before and after my change and it never worked <-- presumably that's what the tags above are for.

Hope this helps someone out there.
