I currently have a domain setup at www.apapdp.org, which has one subdomain, members.apapdp.org.

Roughly a year ago I purchased a certificate for www.apapdp.org, and it works great to take my contributions at https://www.apapdp.org/donations/ .

Now, I also want to secure the members.apapdp.org subdomain, so I purchased a certificate for *.apapdp.org.

I fully realize that members.apapdp.org needs its own IP address, but how can I assign an IP address without removing the subdomain and creating a new account for members.apapdp.org? I'm afraid if I delete the subdomain and create the new account, I will lose all the data and files, as well as the mysql databases associated with members.apapdp.org.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated.
