ssl certificates
i have my www.domain.com with a static unique ip address.now that i added a subdomain secure.domain.com to use for signups,both www.domain.com and secure.domain.com has the same ip address,can i still use secure.domain.com to generate a CSR and sign it!! or should i get secure.domain.com another unique ip address ?

You can only use SSL once per IP address... so you should be able to use ssl on your secure.domain.com - but domain.com won't be able to have ssl... but it'll still work for normal http.
SSL certs aren't tied to any particular ip address either... so you can change them around from ip to ip as long as nothing with the domain changes. |
