    Default SSL doesn't work...

I haven't set anything up, but I think https should be enabled by default, even if there isn't a cert installed, right?

SSL for WHM/cP is working fine, but I can't get it to work for apache. i.e. https://www.mydomain.com doesn't work.

    Any ideas?

No, you will have to generate a cert and install it for the default host.
