SSL Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long

Ive been working on this for 2 days - So now turning here for some suggestions.

I can get https: to work for Cpanel just fine.
Now if a client goes for self signed certificates, or even installing one (trial from Comodo) the error Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long comes up.

I have tried this with and without private IP.
I have connected fine to the site doing http:// :443 and it goes to the default apache page.

Any suggestions?

Hi;

This usually means the implementation of SSL on your server is not correct or you lack of website certificate. Also check in the apache Vhost configuration only SSL sites should be listening on port 443.
