    Default SSL install for hostname

    Hello,
I am slightly confused on how to do this..
I have purchased a couple of SSL for my servers hostnames.
    hostname1.domain.com
    hostname2.domain.com

These two hostnames are hostnames for two completelty different servers
maybe this is where I screwed up.

Now where do I install the SSL?
Do I install the SSL on the server where the domain is hosted?
    or
Do I install the SSL on the server the hostname resolves to?

If I install the SSL on the server where the domain is hosted how do I get the SSL to read the other servers IP?

I know this is confusing but any assistance will greatly be appreciated.

I think you will need to install SSL on the both the servers. (hostname1 and hostname2) and then just created DNS entry in your main domain to point hostname1 and hostname2 to correct IP.
